((Almark is the main city in Fracca territory.))
**Ekor the Brave, Leader of the Fraccas, walked with two guards on either side of him. He was a good leader, but there were rebels.** There always is. **He thought. If he had his way, he'd be with his weapons hidden, not out, and walking without guards. He hated being guarded. He fought his own battles, did his own business, but he was always guarded. He had had experience, but no one seemed to care. To them, he was old, feeble, and helpless, but he was in his mid-fifities, he was quite muscular, and a veteran of many battles. A young Fracca came up to see him, making Ekor smile, but the guards pushed the child away. The Fracca leader scowled.** Now see here, let that child be. If he wants to see me, let him. I will not be a leader no one sees. I will be seen. I will be talked to. And I will have my way. **The guards let the child through.** Hello little one. How are you. **The child looked at him with huge brown eyes.** I'm glad you're my leader. **That made Ekor smile. The things you could learn from the young.**

*The general, Korlic the Courageous, was walking through the capital. He saw the leader, Ekor the Brave, and started walking that way. He noticed the guards, and figured they were protecting the leader.* Good day Ekor the Brave, *said Korlic through the guards.* How are you today? *Korlic is pushed away by a guards spear, and he grabs it.* What do you think you are doing, i'm the general.

Ah, Korlic the Courageous. You teach your guards too well. They don't even let me see my people. You do know that I can fight by myself well enough. I do not need, **Ekor motioned at the guards in a tired way,** guards.

Ahh, yes I do. Also, I do know you can fight by yourself, for I have seen it personally. *Korlic pushes a guard out of his way, and asks* what are you doing today, my lord?

Well, I was planning on visiting the people, but some don't really care. It may be the guards. A child, a child, came up and they pushed him away! But after this, I am going to do nothing much.

Ahh, I see. I guess they are well trained, but I don't understand why they push the children away. *Korlic gestures towards the villagers, and says* they are protecting you from everyone, including me.

**Ekor sighed.** I'm afraid so. I can keep myself taken care of. I always hide a dagger in my sleeve. **Ekor winked.**

*Korlic smiles, and says* yes, I keep two daggers hidden in my hat. Sounds dangerous, and impossible, but it works. Noone ever thinks to look there. *Korlic winks at Ekor.*

I feel perfectly safe in my territory, but these are sometimes hard times for the people, so they need someone to blame. And if I can't fight my battles, you know what the Fraccas will think. I'm weak.

Yes, I do agree. These are hard times my friend, if I can call you that my lord. *Korlic looks at Ekor*

**Ekor smiled at his general.** Of course. I would not have it any other way. You have been a good general to me, and a good friend at that.

I do agree my friend. I have done my best as the general, and apparently, I have succeeded. *Korlic looks at Ekor, smiling.* ;D

**Holli looked at Ekor and the other guards smugly. She would do much better as a leader, but oh well. She has to get older first, but not to old. Holli hated old people, just looking at her Grandma. Ugh, it sometimes grossed her out! And some people called her spoiled and smug, they were probably just jealous. She inched closer to hear their conversation.**

Yes. You are most definatly my most closest friend. I am a lucky leader to have you at my side. I would trust you with my life. **Ekor was aware that they were being eavesdropped on.** Hello, young one.
